Handel’s First Two Oratorios in a Week

Sunhae Im performed Handel’s first two oratorios in a week with different groups at different places!

She was la Bellezza (the Beauty) in Handel’s first oratorio Il trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno (The Triumph of Time and Disillusion) and Mary Magdalene in Handel’s second oratorio La Resurrezione (The Resurrection).  The two masterpieces have separate stories but are musically connected.  Moreover, the role of Bellezza is known to be a reflection of Mary Magdalene!
She sang Bellezza several times before.  She sang Angelo (the angel) for La Resurrezione before and Mary Magdalene for the first time for this concert.
